SOME THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INVOLVING CHILDREN VICTIMS

Summary/Abstract: Domestic violence is and remains one of the topics of study still of great relevance. Its multiple waves, both from the perspective of the victims, as well as its forms, require in-depth studies unfolding over long periods of time. If in other scientific studies I have analyzed the situation of women victims, in this framework I try to study the dimension of domestic violence against minors, both direct and indirect victims. The approach will proceed from the analysis of statistics of recent data of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Romanian Police regarding minor victims of domestic violence, to further develop the theoretical part and conclusions using doctrine and elements of national jurisprudence.
