GENERAL ACTIVITY REPORT of the Diocesan Council’s Departments for 2024

Summary/Abstract: Highlighting the pastoral, cultural, and administrative achievements of the Archdiocese of Timișoara in 2024, the annual general report outlines extensive community efforts under the guidance of Metropolitan Ioan of Banat. The diocese successfully managed 373 church units and significantly expanded its social-philanthropic activities, investing over 6.8 million lei to support vulnerable families, medical institutions, and specialized care centers. Furthermore, major educational accomplishments are emphasized alongside extensive infrastructure projects. These include the construction of 21 new churches and the comprehensive restoration of the Metropolitan Cathedral's roof, reaffirming the institution's active societal role.
