Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the question of internal migration ori-ented towards Lviv and external migration targeting Wrocław, triggeredby the escalation of hostilities by Russia in February 2022 againstUkraine. The authors placed this issue within the framework of the twoforms of social capital (bonding and bridging) activated and utilisedby migrants (and especially female migrants), and more specifically,in the context of the three types of support they received (material, sym-bolic and emotional), together with the category of migration networks. The article provides the results of empirical research, carried out amongmigrants: at the end of 2022 in Wrocław and at the beginning of 2023in Lviv. The main result of these inquiries is the presentation of ex-amples of forms of support received by these people in both cities, tak-ing into account the divisions within social capital signalled above. Theseexamples, appropriately illustrated, form the elements of a typological-exemplification model of analysis.
