Summary/Abstract: This study presents in detail the life and activity of the priest, Professor Ioan Ageu, from the Theological Academy in Arad, covering his intellectual training, family life, teaching, university and publishing activity, as well as the 3 arrests and incarcerations in communist prisons, until his release in 1964. The study then presents his work, the last period of his life, his funeral, his place of rest, and his image in the minds of those who knew him. The study, as a whole, seeks to restore the image of the priest, teacher, and confessor Ioan Ageu, thereby fulfilling an act of justice through the almost exhaustive restoration of his human, intellectual, and theological personality.
