Summary/Abstract: The Yorick Studio, a project-based experimental theatre operating in Târgu Mureș, organized its anniversary showcase, Yorick Fest, between October 1 and 21, 2025. To mark the occasion, they staged Csaba Székely’s monodrama The Birth of a Dictator, directed by Aba Sebestyén. Patrícia Dimény’s review focuses on how the performance played in an unusual space, with almost no props, relying largely on Ernő Galló’s acting skills, manages to present the birth of a tyrant in a deeply self reflective way.
