Summary/Abstract: The literature tells us that we have a new topic, that of the relationship between the concepts of "gender" and "sex", displaying what is specific, particular, and special about it. As such, we have decided to say a few words about the Yogyakarta Plus principles, to give examples from comparative law (Germany, Great Britain, France), to present examples of cases concerning gender identity before the European Court of Human Rights from the perspective of Romanian law.
