THE SPANISH EXPERIENCE OF WORKING ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS

Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to contribute to research on work on digital platforms, highlighting the Spanish experience, in which the development and consolidation of these business models have been largely channeled into employment contracts, giving rise to a series of social and labor problems, issues and conflicts that oscillate between the digital protection of individuals and the establishment of a labor status for those working in the digital platform sector. The approach to the subject of the study is that of a kind of hybrid between the protection offered by the Spanish legal system to individuals in the digital age and that related to the integration of individuals into the employment contract.
