Summary/Abstract: After the collapse of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the occupation during World War II, hundreds of thousands of Yugoslav soldiers and officers ended up in Nazi camps. One of the largest was the officers’ camp in the German city of Osnabrück, Oflag VI C. Since officers were granted certain rights and were exempt from forced labor, they had the opportunity to organize social and artistic life, both in Osnabrück and other camps. Theater activities were among the most popular. The prisoners in Osnabrück founded several theater groups, the most active being the one they called the "The Artistic Group". The path from modest open-air performances between barracks to establishing a proper venue with props, set design, and seriouslevel productions was neither easy nor simple, but the dedicated theater artists and enthusiasts imprisoned in this camp managed to achieve it. The Museum preserves a manuscript that is presented in this paper, offering valuable information about the theatrical activity of the "The Artistic Group" in Oflag VI C and D in Osnabrück.
