Summary/Abstract: The paper examines different aspects of language use in the ten plays written by Milena Marković so far, from general characteristics to a detailed analysis of dialogues, monologues, and stage directions, with special attention given to songs. Through this dramatic element the unique poetics of Milena Marković are revealed, as well as the strength and authenticity of her dramatic creation, which lie precisely in language.
