Summary/Abstract: This work examines the ceremonial dramatic presentation of Karađorđe’s early twentieth-century life, highlighting the construction of his biography at the intersection of history and myth. The playwrights intricately fractured Vožd’s biography through various occult themes, and this interplay creates a myth of the hero, myth of the leader, and a myth of death.
