Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to gain relevant insights into the perception of employees in the private sector in Serbia regarding the effectiveness of various training programs, workshops, and seminars implemented within their companiesOur research was inspired by the findings of the study "Quality Vocational Education and Training and Skills in Serbia", conducted by the European Training Foundation (ETF) in cooperation with the Vojvodina ICT Cluster (VET Governance in Serbia 2017). The data for this research was collected by surveying 275 respondents from various companies during 2024. All respondents are employed in private sector companies. The findings indicate that the majority of employees perceive different training programs as effective in developing their skills, achieving organizational goals, and career advancement. In addition, the results highlight the need for certain training programs to be better tailored to the specific requirements of job roles and organizational contexts. These findings are consistent with existing literature, underscoring the importance of improving training programs and promoting continuous learning within companies.
