Summary/Abstract: The object of our contribution is the study of errors, particularly interferential ones, made in the academic writings of students whose first language is Kabyle, and whose second and third languages are Arabic and French respectively. The objective is to understand the nature of these errors and the relationship they might have with the linguistic repertoires of their authors. Our corpus consists of the manuscripts of five doctoral theses in Amazigh language and culture written in French and defended in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022. First, we'll look at the key concepts of our study, namely error, interference and interlanguage, trying to provide definitions that are clear enough to be applied rigorously to our corpus. We conclude with an analysis of our material and the conclusions that flow from it.
