Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the imagological representations of the Banat space in the work of the writer Anișoara Odeanu, highlighting the way in which the native province is reconstructed as a space of identity, memory and cultural belonging. The study aims to combine autobiographical elements, various narrative perspectives and fictionalization in the configuration of a specific “literary geography”. Representative works of the author are analysed, in which Banat appears both as a realistic space, through descriptions of landscapes and multicultural communities, and as a symbolic topos, loaded with genealogical and mythical meanings. Poetry capitalizes on the memory of ancestors and the continuity between generations, while prose integrates individual experience in historical contexts such as the First World War and the Great Union, strengthening the relationship between personal destiny and regional identity.Through this approach, it is highlighted that Anișoara Odeanu transforms Banat from a marginal province into a symbolic centre, defined by a complex, multicultural and restorative identity.
