Summary/Abstract: The paper “Babović’s contribution to the development of negosology (a contribution to aesthecis and poetics)” is divided into four section: “Introduction” (pp. 1-5), “Life should be loved more than logics” (pp. 6-11), “A deep sense of text” (pp. 11-16) and “Notes” (pp. 18-23) and is dedicated to establishing the contribution to the development of contemporary negosologist of the famous Russist, Slavist, Yugoslavist and comparativist Miloslav Babović (1921-1997) during the four decades of fruitful and continuous scientific work. The peak of work of this provenance are surely his books Njegoš and his followers (Nikšić, 1993) and especially the aesthetic-poetic monograph Poetics of “The Mountain Wreath” (CANU, Podgorica, 1997, p. 264). This new paper is a continuation of our two previously published studies: “Yugoslavistic topics of Miloslav Babović” (1991) and “The analytical method of Miloslav Babović (Poets and revolution: Njegoš and his followers” as well as an essay “Literary work as a coherent system” (1995). Known as an excellent expert on the theory of realism in Russian and other Slavic literatures, in his monograph Poetics of “The Mountain Wreath” Babović was interested in two areas: aesthetics and poetics of romanticism, with a note that the elaborated themes, motives, problems and aporetics are not exhausted “without remains”.
