Summary/Abstract: According to many of his contemporaries, Risto Radulović – Rinda was one of the first and most educated intellectuals among the Serbs in Mostar in the early twentieth century. Although he was appointed editor of the People newspaper at a very young age and poor physical health, he approached this responsible and important task with a very great dedication. As he was strict towards himself, Radulović was also strict towards his associates, which he justified by the importance of the tasks they performed for the development of all areas of the Serbian people’s life in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He left a highly significant correspondence with the then young Bosnian and Herzegovinian intelligence. Mostly he collaborated with famous publicist and politician Nikola Stojanović. During the period when Radulović was the editor, this paper contributed greatly to strengthening the national consciousness of the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He did a lot to improve all areas of public life. An extremely important place in the editorial policy of the People newspaper was the position of the village and peasants of that time and the struggle for its improvement. Radulović considered agriculture as the most important economic branch and the driver of economic development as a whole. He was an advocate of the Yugoslav idea and fought for the cooperation of Serbs, Croats and Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under Radulović’s management, the People newspaper became one of the most influential newspapers among the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
