Summary/Abstract: In his contribution, the author gave a sort of an overview of the writing of Serbian historiography so far on the issue of the Voivodeship of Serbia and the Banat of Temes, more precisely, whether it is about the crown, or about the administrative area. He cited examples of historians and their works, both those who did not consider the Voivodeship of Serbia and the Banat of Temes as crownland, as well as those who claimed that it was crownland. Declaring himself as a member of the group of historians who do not consider the Voivodeship of Serbia and the Banat of Temes to be a crownland, the author states that the proponents of the belief that the Voivodeship should be viewed as a crownland are wrong, and that they have no support in the relevant documentation, pointing out that as a rule they do not possess concrete evidence for their claim, since there is none.
