Summary/Abstract: Family constellations are fundamentally changed because of the phenomenon of migration. Literature often stages such family networks. As a result, migration literature configures social change within generations via the paradigm of the family. The following article uses the example of Dinçer Güçyeter’s novel Unser Deutschlandmärchen to ask how the process of acculturation of the second generation in Germany leads to the intercultural change of family constellations.
