Summary/Abstract: This study examines the theological foundations and practical implications of living the evangelical truth in the thought of Saint Dumitru Stăniloae, one of the most influential Orthodox theologians of the twentieth century. For Stăniloae, the Gospel is not an abstract system of doctrines but a living reality embodied in the Person of Christ and experienced within the life of the Church. His theology overcomes the separation between dogma and spiritual life, presenting dogmas as existential mysteries that guide the believer toward communion with God. The paper highlights Stăniloae’s vision of spiritual knowledge as an experiential encounter rooted in prayer, Eucharistic participation, and inner transformation through divine grace. Central to his thought is the concept of theosis, understood as the gradual transfiguration of the human person through the uncreated energies of God. This perspective reveals that daily life itself can become a space of encounter with God, where the believer grows in love, transparency, and communion through the continual presence of the Holy Spirit.
