Summary/Abstract: This study presents the spiritual portrait of Saint Sofian, the Confessor Monk of Antim Monastery, highlighting his profound humility, inner luminosity, and pastoral sensitivity. Known as the “Apostle of Bucharest,” Saint Sofian combined deep prayer with artistic vocation, becoming both a spiritual father and an iconographer of souls. The paper examines his theological appreciation of the Three Holy Hierarchs—Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom—whom he described as vessels of the Holy Spirit, models of humility, and luminous teachers of the Church. Through his sermons and spiritual insights, Saint Sofian reveals the unity, holiness, and sacrificial love that characterize the Three Hierarchs, offering contemporary believers a living interpretation of their legacy. His words and life demonstrate how patristic wisdom can be embodied today, transforming hearts through gentleness, prayer, and divine love.
