Summary/Abstract: This study examines the two representations of the Holy Trinity icon inside Romania’s National Cathedral, highlighting their theological meaning, canonical structure, and visual symbolism. The analysis situates both icons within the broader tradition inspired by Andrei Rublev’s “Trinity,” emphasizing the chromatic language, gestures, and compositional balance that express divine unity and perfect love. The text also explores the connection between the iconographic elements and biblical typology—particularly the Hospitality of Abraham—while underscoring the spiritual message conveyed to the faithful: the call to communion with the life of the Holy Trinity through grace, liturgical participation, and personal sanctification.
