Summary/Abstract: This article examines films representing animation diaries as a genre of animadoc. Examples of works of the diary genre are given and their analysis is made. As a result of the research, the types of animation diaries were identified and described, their characteristics and features were given, the principles of the material presentation were determined. Regardless of the type of works in the genre of animation diaries, they are characterized by a specific way of representing the material, reflecting the inner world, the character of the diary author, his individual perception. For the vast majority of films in the animated diary genre, the presentation is intimate. Many films focus on emotional experiences, emotional representation, and sincerity. The presentation is characterized by fragmented, episodic, and emotional elements. Due to this and the nature of the images, these films can be considered an impressionistic animadoc.
