Summary/Abstract: Embedded in the center of his own world, human being considered increasingly distant predators as one of the sources of evil. The negative images of the wolf that have been formed over time and the successive severance of all interspecies relationships were primarily the result of an anthropocentric way of thinking about the world. The article is an attempt to look at the following transformations in western ways of thinking on the subjectivity of human and non-human species. Based on an analysis of Adam Wajrak's ecological reportage titled Wolves, the issues of changes in the way of thinking about the wolf were reflected upon, but also the idea of hunting or attempts to get rid of culturally ingrained fear in order to establish equivalent relations.
