Să ne reamintim...Lucian Blaga
Let’s remember... Lucian Blaga

Summary/Abstract: In December, the “Eugen Todoran” Central University Library in Timișoara held an exhibition titled “Lucian Blaga: 130 Years Since His Birth,” bringing the complex figure of the Romanian poet and philosopher back to public attention. To highlight the connections between Blaga’s personality and the local community, two aspects were emphasized that reinforce his symbolic relationship with the university library. On the one hand, during his varied professional career, Blaga at one point also served as a librarian. On the other hand, his work was analyzed in depth by the philologist Eugen Todoran, a prominent figure in the institution’s development. The library has been named after the latter since 2000. The event was graced by the presence of partners from the Faculty of Music and Theater, who performed pieces inspired by Blaga’s work.
