Summary/Abstract: The present article does not tend to be a full analysis of the non-occasional lyrical genre, in which the song itself has a distinct place and very diverse subjects from the song of military service to that of mourning, longing, alienation, love, nature etc. From a geographical point of view, it encompasses the entire Romanian space, actually making up the heritage of the life and evolution of our nation. In a word, the focus is on revealing inner feelings and emotional states, giving us the opportunity to have a more varied freedom of expression in dealing with the subjects, unlike in occasional music genres which are linked to certain occasions and celebrations. Tackling this topic is essential for us, those who come from the world of music having the firm conviction to establish, follow and grasp where we stand today carried by the wave of the Romanian lyrical song. It displays considerable appearance on television and radio stations, and similarly in various artistic events such as festivals, contests, concerts, etc., in which it is often removed from the patterns of the old repertoire and augmented with new nuances.
