Social distance towards the Other in the opinion of nursing students

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to draw attention to the issue of the presence of multiculturalism in the medicalsphere. The attitudes represented by nursing students indicate the need for education in this area. The article draws attention to the urgent need to take action to include multiculturalism subjects as compulsory subjects in medical study curricula. The results of pilot studies on social distance from others are also presented. A tool based on the idea of E. S. Bogardus was used here.
