Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to reconstruct the linguistic creation of St. John Bosco (1815-1888) as someoneliving eternally in the supernatural dimension, i.e. in Heaven. This study is a continuation of researchreconstructing the linguistic image of St. John Bosco as a historical figure. The research material compriseda compilation of 45 sung texts published in a printed songbook and in online resources. The authorhas distinguished two communication patterns: the saint as recipient or as a protagonist of the text, anddescribed selected linguistic images (reign, leadership, fatherhood, angelic care). Furthermore, the paperalso presents the actions and attitudes attributed to the saint. The coclusion emphasises the convictionexpressed in the texts of the saint’s continuous involvement in the worldly matters and recognisesthe formative and cultic nature of the songs.
