The Most Sensitive of Senses? Tactility in Culture Texts

Summary/Abstract: The article recognizes the problem of broadly understood touch in contact with the culture text and proposes a typology of touch evoked by a work of art. It indicates the presence of direct and indirect haptics, multisensory of the impression of touch (i.e., the haptic nature of the reception of works created under various semiotic systems) and the most important problems related to the tactility of culture texts: complex subjective relations and possible transgressions.
