Summary/Abstract: This forum presents a series of thoughtful, provocative reflections on what it meansto think and work within the postsecular humanities today, especially in the contextof Polish academia. Following a shared set of questions, scholars from a range of disciplines, including anthropology, history, literary studies, and philosophy, offer personal andconceptual insights into the promises, limits, and complexities of postsecular thought.Instead of striving for a single definition, the authors explore postsecular humanities asa fluid and evolving field: a space of tensions and possibilities between various regimesof understanding the secular and the religious, and their “others” in the context of Centraland Eastern Europe. Taken together, the forum invites a reconsideration of how we know, believe, and interpret in the wake of the so-called “return of religion” and what it meansto be a scholar in such a world.
