Summary/Abstract: The review of the monograph by Dawid Rogoziński „Insurance as an instrument of securing credit re- ceivables” aims to assess its substantive value and emphasise the universality of the bancassurance issue. The publication focuses on presenting the legal basis for the functioning of the security mechanism created as a result of cooperation between two separate sectors – banking and insurance. The main subject of considerations is the distribution and mechanism of credit repayment insurance in Poland, but there are also comparative law threads in relation to the doctrines: German, South African and British.
