THE IMPORTANCE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA, I.E. BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence enables faster processing of large volumes of data, analysis of evidence, and monitoring of complex events. However, its application should be exclusively as an auxiliary tool, not as a replacement for human judgment and judicial decision-making. The use of artificial intelligence algorithms in criminal proceedings allows data from video surveillance, DNA analyses, and similar sources to be processed more quickly and accurately, which facilitates the work of the police and prosecution.
