Summary/Abstract: In the voluminous documentary collection of the Samokov Metropolitan Church and Chancery, information about masters of the Samokov Art School was sought. A small number relate to commissions for work received and executed. In most cases we have evidence of the involvement of a number of Samokov masters in church and school affairs. Some wills give information about the property status of Samokov masters. Unknown names of Samokov builders, engravers and goldsmiths are found.
