Summary/Abstract: Harmony is at the basis of a subtle Islamic cosmology, as shown by the beautiful Andalusian model, which is linked to the creative principle of the Muhammadan Light. The singular example of the Alhambra, in particular, supposes a gnostic, artistic, vital and educational model based on pure creativity. An artistic model, of visual, epigraphic and synaesthetic interrelationship, of rhythmic organisation, oriented to increase perception, consciousness and promote health. The artistic forms are designed as a precision machine. And here, I allude to the technical term Latifas, the different centers of perception maintain between them a state of permanent fluidity, which is so prodigiously expressed in colours, epigraphies, architecture, designs and gardens. This fluidity has the quality of attracting the viewer's own fluidity by a principle of resonance, and thus, favoring physical, psychic and spiritual health. The Alhambra exemplifies gnostic keys of Ibn 'Arabí's legacy, of his method of reintegration into the Light. Ibn 'Arabí and the Alhambra are two unique models to be taken into account in the development of curricula and creative methodologies in Design Schools and Universities. A unique model of balance at different levels and a system of promoting health and ecology through design and architecture.
