Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author analyses the academic and political career of Biljana Plavšić based on the daily press, archival material of the University of Sarajevo, and material available on the databases of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Special attention is paid to shorthand notes from the meetings and sessions of the Bosnian-andHerzegovinian and Serb national political bodies in which Biljana Plavšić participated. Based on this material, the thesis on the metamorphosis of her ideological perceptions will be re-examined in the paper – from the ideology of Yugoslavism that she advocated until the beginning of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the idea of all-Serbian unification and sanctity and Saint-Savaism, an ideological construct created during 1930s.
