Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to determine the role of the education system in shaping attitudes toward gender equality through quantitative and qualitative analysis of textbooks and educational documentation at all levels of education from preschool to higher education. The focus is on subtle messages, values, and biases conveyed through educational materials and their impact on the formation of identity and social roles. The paper emphasizes early childhood as a crucial period of socialization, highlighting the education system’s potential to either reproduce or transform social norms.
