Summary/Abstract: Radin’s will has become one of the most significant legal documents in the study of the Bosnian church. Its discovery has had a substantial impact on changing perceptions of the character and teachings of the Bosnian church, influencing responses from foreign historians and scholars who have approached the research, not only of the Bosnian church but also of medieval Bosnia’s history. The author of this testament is Radin Butković, a dignitary of the Bosnian Church, and one of the important diplomatic officials. He died at the beginning of 1467, and his will, analyzed from today’s perspective, contains numerous specifics, of which four are analyzed in the paper: gender-sensitive language in the will, the significance of the cross at the beginning of the will, (non)observance of celibacy by the guest Radin, and the position of krstjanica through the prism of Radin’s testament.
