Summary/Abstract: The paper presents works by Adriaen de Weerdt (1536–1540–before 1590) – a painter from Brussels who settled in Cologne in 1567 and became part of the predominantly emigrant artistic community of the city. His drawings are mainly known for their repetitions in Dirck Volkertsz Coornhert’s copperplate engravings. The second printmaker who based his own prints on De Weerdt’s drawings was probably Isaac Duchemin. They co-produced some prints showing New Testament scenes which are included in the collection of the Print Room of the Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow. The paper presents these impressions with particular focus on their early stages, and pointing out the works of I. Duchemin as well as works published by A. de Weerdt.
