Summary/Abstract: The Constitutional justice (CC) is the body tasked with protecting the constitution by ensuring its implementation and protecting it from the excesses and arbitrariness of the political authorities. However, the realization of these goals is linked to the legal status of the body in charge of constitutional justice. For this reason, this paper sheds light on the nature, status and jurisdiction of the CC and the constitutional judge (CJ) by referring to a number of comparative constitutional experiences, such as the French, German, Tunisian, Spanish, and other experiences.
