More than a workshop – with Daniel Cristea-Enache

Summary/Abstract: On November 19, 2025, Amphitheater A59 of the Faculty of Letters in Baia Mare hosted a memorable workshop: "The History of Romanian Literature. From the Beginnings – work in progress". Honoring the invitation of Dr. Ioana Bud, university lecturer, he came as a literary critic and historian to engage in a cultural dialogue with Prof. Dr. habil. Cornel Munteanu and Prof. Dr. Gheorghe Glodeanu. His speech methodically and logically highlighted the aspects he took into account when deciding to write “The History of Romanian Literature from the Beginnings – work in progress”. He wants to restore due respect to women through the public recognition of the role they had in the evolution of Romanian literature. Then, he will include the literature of national minorities and will assume individuation, because any progress involves redefining previous canons.
