Summary/Abstract: Architectural works are distinguished by characteristics that set them apart within the field of works protected by copyright, which has led to the rights conferred upon their authors having specific features, including the existence of particular forms of infringement of such works. The analysis carried out covers: the definition of infringement (1), methods for assessing infringement (2), acts of infringement of architectural works (3), issues arising in the analysis of the infringement of architectural works (4), and trends (5). Given the limited domestic case law and legal doctrine concerning the infringement of this category of works, reference has been made to French doctrine and case law.
