Summary/Abstract: This study explores the potential benefits and challenges of the Collaborative Transport Economy (CTE) for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). The research is grounded in the growing role of ridesharing, carpooling, and similar digital mobility platforms in improving accessibility and convenience in urban transportation. However, while these systems are seen as inclusive, concerns remain about their actual accessibility and usability for disadvantaged groups such as PWD. The main aim of this study is to identify the barriers and facilitators that affect the participation of PWD in the CTE and to understand how these platforms can support equitable and inclusive mobility. The findings reveal that while CTE services can promote independence, flexibility, and inclusion through innovations like Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAVs), barriers persist. These include infrastructural, digital, social, economic, and institutional challenges. The study concludes that without inclusive design and effective policy implementation, the benefits of CTE will remain limited for PWD.
