Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the role of regulation mechanisms and feedback in self-regulated learning. In contemporary education, students become active agents of their own development, and effective feedback – corrective, explanatory, metacognitive, motivational, and feedforward – supports performance, motivation, and autonomy. By raising error awareness, reflecting on strategies, and recalibrating personal goals, feedback facilitates deep learning, meaning-making, and the development of cognitive and affective competencies. Cited studies emphasize the importance of tailored and personalized application, highlighting that feedback is not merely evaluative but a crucial tool for fostering responsible and autonomous learners.
