Summary/Abstract: Departing from the relations between the great romanists Salvatore Riccobono, Franz Wieacker and Valentin Al. Georgescu mainly before the Second World War, the following lines try to show some divergences and/or convergences between their lines of thought as shown by their approaches on causa Curiana and concerning some actual international evolutions as well as the possible national and international impact of a renewed theoretical approach of the Roman law in Romania.
