Summary/Abstract: In the artistic act, a process of communication between the author or performer and the audience takes place. In this process, the artist uses visual, auditory or performative media to transmit emotions, ideas, worldviews, values, behavioral models. Art acts as a universal language that connects people and communicates human experience trapped in philosophical concepts and past or present ideologies, initiating and encouraging changes in attitude or behavior, which is why it has been considered useful in the educational field since antiquity. Plato and Aristotle are among the most prominent ancient philosophers who wrote about the importance of art in the educational process. Since education is valued in the Greek city-state, it cannot be left to chance. The artistic disciplines used to educate the young are evaluated, and their ability to inspire a virtuous or vicious life is assessed.
