Summary/Abstract: Kornélia (1845–1923), the daughter of Chief Judge Gusztáv Groisz, married Rezső Haller of Hili in 1864, and two mayors came from this family. The name Haller is also borne in Transylvania by an old aristocratic comital family, who hold the predicate of Hallerkő. The Hallers of Hili, however, are of German origin; one of their ancestors, a soldier, ended up in Székelyföld and married into the Nagy family of Hili. Their child, Sándor, wrote a petition on January 28, 1842, to the estates and orders of the Grand Principality of Transylvania, requesting a patent of nobility for himself and his son.
