Summary/Abstract: I read with affection the news from the parishes of the Gyergyó archdeaconry: book launches, chapel dedications, catechism competitions, and many other events I could list. Distance lends a different perspective, and I should not be surprised by that. Not only do I read the news from my former archdeaconry differently, but also the publications and materials of my new workplace and responsibilities, the RomKat.ro news portal, and everything that Verbum represents and does — I see and read all of it here with different eyes than I did there.
