Summary/Abstract: The power of the Holy Spirit is at work within it and guides it; divine grace gives it life and acts through it. The Spirit of Christ—His power and His love—sustains it, makes it a sign of unity (signum unitatis), a bond of charity (vinculum caritatis), preserves the truth, and therefore endows it with the gift of truth (charisma veritatis). And through the figure of its saints, the charm and mystery of the person of Jesus Christ pass, from time to time, through the life of humanity.
