Summary/Abstract: As a first effort to systematize legal writing in Romania, the article presents four fundamental principles applicable to the drafting of legal documents, both objective(predictive) and argumentative (persuasive), and emphasizes their role in the professionalization of future generations of legal practitioners, starting from the essential characteristics of legal writing (the mandatory citation of sources, the use of specialized vocabulary, and pronounced formalism) and the differences it presents in relation to everyday or literary language.
