Summary/Abstract: The article publishes and analyzes for the first time five Scythian graves of the Korotnoe/Kulak 2 barrow. They were made in the catacombs and were intended for the burial of at least eight people. The grave goods are quite diverse and numerous (weapons, tools, vessels, adornments, costume accessories and cult objects). Based on the analysis of the grave goods of all Scythian burials of the North-West Black Sea region, it is shown that the time of existence of four types of beads (heart-shaped, dolphin-shaped, spindle-shaped with three transverse white stripes, rhombic with two holes) found in the Scythian burials of the Korotnoye/Kulak 2 barrow does not go beyond the 3rd-2nd centuries BC. It is also important that on the woolen belt recorded in catacomb 8, along with other objects, there was an oval bronze plaque depicting a man’s face. Similar items and images, known in other synchronous antiquities of the North-West Black Sea region (burials and “hoards”), are reasonably associated with the La Tène influence on Scythian material culture, but until recently they were found only among objects (on objects) of horse harness. Scythian burials of the Korotnoye/Kulak 2 barrow were made in the interval of the last quarter of the 3rd - first quarter of the 2nd century BC.
