Summary/Abstract: During excavations at the necropolis of the Koshary hillfort in 2006, in burial No. 278, next to the re- mains of a man, a Heraclean amphora was discovered, without the foot, but with a preserved englyphic stamp on the neck, containing a name that undoubtedly belonged to one of the Heraclean manufacturers, Παλαμηδης (in the genitive). This name had not previously appeared in any catalogs or lists of Heraclean manufacturers. In our opinion, based on the morphology of the amphora, the activity of this manufacturer can be dated to the final stage of Heraclean stamping – most likely the third or second quarter of the 3rd century BC.
