Summary/Abstract: In his collection of short texts, Les Ravagés, Henri Michaux evokes forty paintings of insane people. This poetic collection echoes the concerns of Jean Oury’s Creation and schizophrenia, in which the author defines the notion o f enforme, that is, the creative movement itself through which the insane person attempts to construct himself. What then happens in the imagination of the reader brought into contact with this movement of enforme among the alienated by the words of Michaux?
